On January 26, 2009 at 5:40 am, I got an email from YouTube.
They said:
Dear thebestdayeversong, Your video, The Best Day Ever Song!, may have content that is owned or licensed by WMG. No action is required on your part; however, if you are interested in learning how this affects your video, please visit the Content ID Matches section of your account for more information. Sincerely, - The YouTube Team
I then panic to my YouTube page, and find out that The Best Day Ever Song was sent to the "Content ID Matches" folder. It says this video is blocked worldwide. And now Patrick Star - Under my Rock has been deleted too. Why WMG? WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL THE HEARTS OF MANY?

Dude, music is a commodity. The owners of that commodity have the right both legally and ethically under to be paid for its use. As the only mechanics for that involve lawyers and contracts it sucks but that's the way it is. It is a corner stone of a freemarket economy. Utube is a economic entity, therefore they are required under the law to respect copyright laws.
Can't you write your own music? Then you could do anything you want with it.

i have an idea.. lets boycott the wmg by removing all the song sounds by ur self.. and post in onto an other site.... that will keep there sales number down and.. well u'know they'll prob notice it was a bad move
