  • The guys below me are retarded, it's far easier to move foward than backward because as humans we are so used to moving in a foward direction. The purpose of this exercise is to add resistance to backwards movement so that your footwork is more balanced all round. Just because you think it's silly doesn't mean you understand it better than everyone else.

  • why not just go with weights around the legs or on the waist?

  • yeah this is terrible, your better off with pylometric training like shuttle runs, jumping over and up ad down a bench, sashaying up and down a court, star jumps, SKIPPING IS GOOD FOR BADMINTON. and general resistance training strengthening the hamstring and quadriceps.
