This is all beautiful art and shit but all these bjj guys are definitely not in top condition... Where in any other grappling sport would it be okay to stop fighting and take a nap on your opponent's stomach?

The way Eddie blocked his students leg and passed him at 4:28 seemed so instictual. It's like a sensation, huh? I love watching great BJJ artist at work.

@xXBeastfromdaEastXx wait... so I guess you were fucking wrong about Eddie Bravo being the first to tap Royler... Which fucking fighters agreed that Bruce was the only guy who could play with other fighters? What are their names and their credentials? DON'T SPEW FUCKING SHIT OUT YOUR MOUTH. I never said that one had to win fights or belts to be considered GREAT... but you have to win fights and belts to be considered a GREAT FIGHTER. Learn some fucking English.

@aikidoisthebombyeah yea im fucking Real man haha dumbass. i train BJJ and have been training MMA for a year now so i actually know what im talking about. many Many fighters have agreed that bruce was the only guy who in sparring or exibitions he could just play with fighters and know he was incredible. u really think someone can only be considered great if they win belts and that bull? u dont know anything clearly. and im sure eddie would do just fine against those other guys u said

@xXBeastfromdaEastXx are you for fucking REAL MAN? Why don't you go train some jiu-jitsu instead of sucking Eddie's dick. While your training, ask some old school BJJ players who Mario Sperry is. Maybe they will tell you about the time that Zemario Sperry finished Royler Gracie with a Clock Choke... long before Eddie Bravo was even fucking born... you are fucking dumb. Who did Bruce Lee fight? What makes him qualified to be one of the most amazing fighters in history without fighting?
-
@aikidoisthebombyeah that doesnt mean anything. i mean did u not know that Eddie was the 1st to tap a Gracie and it was cuz of his modified techniques. also not competing for world titles dont mean anything, u can still be a master without winning championships. just look at BRUCE lee! how many champs did he compete for? none. but would anyone deny that he was one of the most amazing fighters ever in history? no only a retard would say that
-
@aikidoisthebombyeah Truer words have never been spoken.
-
@ArchStantonx ur exactly right joe rogan is also a machado brownbelt but seeing him role only 3 guys eva tapped him-that ive seen atleast, jake shields mayhem and eddie
-
@TerribleOne718 You're allowed to grab your own pants not the enemies.
-
It's generally accepted in no-gi that you don't grab clothing. That is the whole point.
i never understand the beef, gi is awesome as is no-gi, both are excellent for your bjj, i myself find more options in gi making it more interesting, in no-gi some big guy can just stall aka jeff monson, but i still really enjoy it. As for eddie he says get rid of the gi, but then says to be open minded, then he admires marcelo garcia when garcia says ultimate technique is learnt from the gi, training just gi or just no-gi is limiting your bjj.

just because machado taps Eddie many times doesn't mean you shouldn't respect what he has done for no gi jiu-jitsu. hes created a whole new style of jiu-jitsu that's proven to work very well
