This is both a well designed remix of this game's theme in its stage 1, and it also is reminiscient of some triumphant themes like in, say, Star Fox... or Independence Day...

Love this song. Especially the part at 0:51, it's an incredibly moody track and feels very "Contra".

Ah, and yeah, I like the song caused it's cool. A surprisingly moody piece for the enemy HQ, which I think greatly reflects the serious nature of the villain, and the stakes Sparkster is up against.
Pleasure chatting with you. Hopefully there'll be another great Rocket Knight game in our lifetime. In the meantime, go play the SNES Sparkster!

Totally agree with KillYounglings. Altough Sparkster had his moments, RKA sounded, felt and did look like a true jewel, from top to bottom. Neither this version or the better overall Sparkster for SNES where better than RKA, and what i really want to mean is that RKA was and still is a masterpiece of videogaming history and his sequels where just average fun and good games. Long life for the Rocketknight order, nothing more to add =)
