A memorie of my dog who died cause of cancer

I lost my dog 2009 cause of cancer. It all happened very quickly, from the time he was diagnosed to the point where he was getting so weak I decided to put him to sleep.
I decided to make a little video with photos of him.

i don't understand why there are some owners prefer to mercy-kill their dogs even though the dogs are still breathing..

@iramor well... In this case it was just a matter of time, there was nothing the doctors could do. No pills or surgery could stop this. He was in alot of pain and got so thin and depressed, no streanght to do anything... the selfish thing is to ceep the dog alive for your self cause you can´t deal with it..... the unselfish thing is to let him go, not to feel the pain anymore.. the doctor said he only had few months left.... Why let him suffer that time knowing the cancer would kill him anyway??

What are u talking about he is still with u u may not know it but he is when u are on the recliner watching a movie he is at ur feet when u are doing dishes he is watching u when u are walking he is walking with u he is still protecting u that was his job and he loved it so much but now he is in doggy heaven playing fetch and eating and in perfect health he is young again and loving u alot rip may god bless you

@86yukon I know he is with me, but still I miss hugging him and hiking with him... and even now, almost two years after he passed away, I cry when I look at this video, Love these memories I have :)

Such a nice video tribute; great photos of Elvis, and the video of him sleeping/waking up is precious.

I visited Iceland a few years ago - one of the most amazing and beautiful countries I've ever seen, just like the people that inhabit it. (This is what I've said to everyone who asks me about Iceland because they're thinking of visiting). Thanks for sharing.

Nice song nice vid of elvis n your bunny, your cat, your other dogs. They are all so sweet cute and lovely. You must have love n take care of them very well. Thumbs up for u. they truly deserve to be love care concern by us. They give all back to us too. They even bcome part of ourself, a one that we cant afford to lost n when lost, its like we lost ourself too.

@ingerbirta u guys seem like best buddies i thought i had a lot of pictures of my dog haha i don't know which picture i like better the one when he is wearing the glasses looking like a pimp or when he is sitting on ur lap like a baby i love all the pictures but them 2 are my favorite i hope everything is going good for u he is looking down right now saying live ur life to the fullest cause he is right now i bet he is eating a 20 lb t bone steak well done and loving every bite of it godbless

Thanx everybody for the lovely comments. It is almost a year since he passed now, my my how the time flyes! I do think he had a nice life, an active one, he visited many places with me here in Iceland. To a claciar on a jeep, to an Island called vestmannaeyjar by a boat and once on an airplane where he sat in a seat next to me :D I miss him alot :....)

Very nice video, I had a dog who passed away at the age of 8 due to cancer, very sad but you know it looks to me that Elvis had a better life in those five years then some do in 15, he seems very sweet and very loved! Thanks for sharing. :) May he RIP
