I started doing push ups a few months ago. at first I couldn't do any without putting my weight on my knees. i have gotten to where I can do 5 relatively correct push ups, and am planning on continueing to improve and work on my form.

  • So, how are you doing NOW?

    Can you do 25 or more correctly? I imagine you're in GREAT shape by this time!

  • Each time you try, do as many full reps as you can and then drop to knees and keep going as long as possible. This builds your muscle endurance! To three sets like that with a couple minutes stretching between the sets. Keep at it, You are off to a great start!

    Not many gals can do this on their toes. When I do them I have to bend my knees. You inspire me to do them on my toes.

  • Great job Miranda! Your form is excellent - body is straight, and come down to a 90 degree angle with the arms - or close enough anyway :) Looking forward to continued improvement, good luck!
