@lturkisher can you point me to any specific medical articles, condemning turbinectormies? I just want to read them to educate myself. I am so sorry that you are suffering. This is criminal. All my blessings.

I've tried this method. I've used cold pressed grapeseed oil as a moisturizer, it feels good inside. Also maybe it will help to apply comfrey ointment outside the nose. Comfrey is called the bone knitter and can help build up the tissues again inside esp after the surgery. I've also tried using petroleum jelly and lip balm, but according to Wikipedia, inhaling particles of pet. jelly can cause lipid pneumonia, so better use veg oil. Make ur own saline sol w/ some essence of peppermint/eucalytus.

There's also a ENT/plastic dr in Alameda CA named Rex Moulton-Barrett. Says it's his standard protocol to combine rhinoplasty w/ part turbinectomy. I am just studid to subject myself to him n not do my research b4 the surgery. After the surgery I'm like dying. Can't breath well and suffocating lots of times. Feels like there's a hole in front of my nose n feels dry in throat n nose. He got fed up w/ me and says don't want to see me anymore even tho I already paid him my hard earned money! Cruel.

I've called up the office of Dr. Houser, whew, so if you wanted to pay him cash, he will charge $700 per hour of consultation and at least $7k-$12k for surgery. Where can we get help for ENS?

also think about the ent industry that allows these butchers to do complete turbinectomies. What about all the people who have had there turbinates butchered by cauterization, coblation, submuc
osal resection, freezing laser. So many different methods no consistency out there. The ents are almost never held accountable(at least in this life) there one united goal seems to be promoting turbinate surgery(there industry)
Very good, detailed account of the misery we have all gone through Carol; you told your story well.
