Gov. David Paterson told the truckers he'd support a summer fuel tax "holiday" if fuel companies pass the savings on to consumers. The solution is simple:
1) Dont elect Republican presidents/vice presidents who are connected to the oil industry and wont do anything about it
2) Advocate for a price ceiling on diesel fuel since the "free" market wont reduce prices on their own
3) Used dyed diesel or heating oil instead of the fully-taxed fuel.

no, because the government decides the taxes to be paid. mandated the expensive low sulpher fuel for no reason & generally act like retards.

and truckers should and are going to just give it time. all the government is is just a bunch of people that sit around there nice big facny office trying to figure out how to make the working people miserable.

i agree with you MaxPayne....but at least they are doing something which is better than nothing....I think you we should have a day of buy no gas through the whole nation...imagine one day would dent..maybe a day a week for a month would put a hole in someones pocket!!!! We have to take our voice and votes back..this is insane..gas increase=higher foods=less spending=loss job=loss buisness=downward communties..and so forth
