Credit Card AuthFailed / Declined

The bank does not give specific reasons why cards are AuthFailed or Declined. However, there are several common reasons why a credit card may be declined. They are:

•Invalid CCV - On the back of the card, normally near the signature is several numbers. Your card Verification number CCV is the last three numbers.
•Incorrect expiry date.
•Card is overdrawn.
•It may have an overseas or internet block on the card. (Contact your issuing bank to find out.)
•May exceed cards single transaction limit.
