Dvd Update The Wonder Years Holiday Episodes

This was my all time favorite show growing up as a kid and it may still be! What is YOUR favorite show growing up as a kid and now? This is the ONLY legitimate release for this show ever. They need to release the whole series of the Wonder Years to dvd, but there seems to be a legal battle regarding music and copyright and such holding up the proccess, hopefully that gets resolved soon as there are too many fans waiting for this.

Hey man that ent the original DVD!! The original DVD is copyright dated 1997, yours like mine is dated 2001.. i've got the other one as well.. the highlights special.. its dated (on the DVD) 1997 and this other ol boy on ebay sent me pics of his copy of xmas special and his the orignal. I got the pic if you wanna see

Mine is dated 1999 on the back of the case but 2001 on the actual dvd itself.

It is current with the amazon listing of this dvd though, which has a release date of ;

DVD Release Date: July 24, 1999 .

What is the highlights special? Ive never heard of that one, are you sure the highlights one is an official release?

I'm 31 and grew up watching this show with my parents, themselves a product of the 60's. By far my favorite show hands down and it's a damn shame they won't release a DVD set because of the music copyrights! They don't make programs like this anymore.

Just came across this video... The Wonder years is my all-time favorite TV show as well! Each and every episode is amazing in my opinion. I have wanted this DVD for so long, but as you said, it is extremely expensive. There is another official release but it only contains a clip show and the finale I believe. It's awesome to find out you are a Wonder Years fan too!

There were 2 DVD releases that were official and legit. The Christmas special and the Highlights or Best of DVD. Released the same year, which I think is 1999. The discs which say 2001 I do believe were released in a different country to the original 1997. The DVDs were both released in USA and Canada only.

there are two official releases of The Wonder Years on DVD. The first is a "highlights"special and the second is a Christmas special DVD. Both released in 1997, both do not have the official music and are quite hard to get a hold of. Although, saying that, I managed to get the Christmas one just yesterday for 20 quid, f*cking bargain. I've owned the other one for a few years now. So i finally have both of em. Corey Haim DVDs are becoming more expensive
