If you are a long time viewer to my channel you know I had to put my Boxer (dog) down last summer. And I have been putting this project on hold for far too long.

I took her ashes and mixed plaster of paris and shredded paper.
After building a frame out of recycled wood and wire, I covered it with chicken wire.
It should take up to five days to dry so I can paint.
This is a no fire way to sculpt.

I will post the painting when she is ready. stay tuned...

I miss you girl... :(~

  • @magicdonjuan27 The new puppy "Freya" is great, 55lbs and growing.

Athenia was old and her hips gave out in july. My kids are raised and gone so our dogs are the babies now... lol

  • It never ceases to amaze me how our animal companions can steal our hearts. Peace!

  • I know how much you miss her, Magick. This will be beautiful when you are finished. The one thing I wish I had down was kept my dog's ashes. He weighed 125lbs, and I didn't have the funds to pay for his vet bills as well as creamation. My vet was kind enough to pay for group cremation out of her pocket. I'll always miss him, but I have lots of memories and photos.

Don't forget to show us when it's finished, dude!
