  • Look at that energy transfer!!!! The block jumps two feet in the air and the damn thing damn near exits through TWO whole blocks. I love these vids. 5.56NATO tries to be tough but 7.62x39 is a hell of a round.

  • @GTILOUD I agree. Russian ammo is usually bi-metal jacket hence the extreme penitration with little to no fragmentation. I want to see what you mentioned (true copper jacket) plus if your going bi metal try tulammo 154gr soft points...curious if the soft point will help deform the round.

  • @TheAK47nut Can you do this again but use the military classic 124hp, the 123 V-max or Z-max lol and the Winchester super-x etc. Test some more expanding fragmenting 7.62x39 ammo please sir.

  • @deej1478 its not the same Piston as the AK, a low end wasr 10 will haave greater reliability than your PWS

  • @deej1478 7.62x39 has more penetration and greater energy than 5.56. to say otherwise simply shows ignorance.

  • @deej1478 5.56 fragments, 5.45/7.62x39 tumbles, 762x39 also has alot more energy than 5.56.

  • damn thats like one shot kill if it hit someone...

  • @dammitcrap penetrating rounds like the 7.62x39 the ONLY reason it gets a bad rep is because the U.S cant use hollow points and so the bullets over penetrate and don't do as much damage as the bad guys aks who use hollow points and any ammo they wont in the end you cant call the 5.56 anything but what it is a very effective tactical shooter while you cant argue with the AK47 being a beast up close and personal or on drive buys get .308 if you want a more powerful rifle sorry for the long respons

  • @dammitcrap In a battle you want the best and the 5.56 is better accuracy distance control gun and bullets. You can fire full auto with complete control on my mk116 i dont have full auto obviously but you can with the gun with zero muzzle rise you can out shoot the 7.62x39 every time at 300 yards it pierces welders steel follow up shots are right on target and the gun comes in 7.62x39 but no ones gets it's really cause it's not as effective tumbling bullets do more damage than the straight

  • @dammitcrap ak47s dont exist over here really only copies and the 7.62x 39 isn't a effective round only supported by people who think aks are cool and nice sure it has better power out of the barrel but doesn't have the distance and the .223 tumbles in hp and expands and this is fmj and the 7.62x39 test the guy does is wit hollow points. You dont not what you talking about with penetration 7.62x39 will penetrate barely more since any real armor both will fail against.

  • @deej1478 oh im not doubting that there are some fine ar on the market... but i wouldnt ever say that they are tougher than an ak and call an ak a toy. they will never be tougher no matter how reliable the piston may be. the tolerances are too tight so sand will jam them up. also it comes down to the cartridge. a 7.62 was designed for medium sized game and they can penetrate barriers that a 5.56 will shit it pants at. a 5.56 is just a beefed up coyote cartridge
