Just a little video about Matthew leaving for war and Mary wanting to leave him with more than "perfume and promises" - You get the gist. every time he has leave they try to make the most of it but each time they say goodbye it gets harder and harder, when they are apart they are thinking of the other and as it gets harder they don't want to spend their lives wasting away waiting and missing each other - Mary tries to let Matthew go but niether of them can bear it so they just hope and pray.

This is beautiful. They are my all-time favorite couple, too. I miss their innocence from Series 1. It hurts to see Matthew kiss Lavinia's hand and then bypass Mary even though you know that he couldn't kiss Mary's hand in front of everyone! The suspense is killing me. Thank you!
