THIS IS THE STORY OF MARKUS WRIGHT...
A talented young emcee whos plucked from the local battle scene by a slick A&R with promises of money, fame and A-list celebrity status. He must accept the corny conditions of the recording contract, then sign his music and himself over to The Company.

The story takes an unexpected turn when at the height of his popularity Markus decides to completely switch his style

Written and directed by Jonzi D this rap opera includes brand new music from MOBO-award winning musician Soweto Kinch and features Bashy (Most Inspiring Act - Urban Music Awards 2008) as Markus.
Pioneering artist Jonzi D is one of the most recognised faces of UK Hip Hop theatre, and the creator and host of Breakin Convention, the critically acclaimed international Hip Hop dance theatre festival.
