@HIDKIT no we live in Austin. Never got pulled over for it.

@raulred93 For Texas, it's 25% for the front windows and any shade on the rear glass. Your friend with the double 5% is pretty lucky, if you live in Houston, good luck driving around that dark without be caught by a trooper.

Well i live in Texas also and my friend has double layer of 5 percent all around except the windshield and has never been pulled over. And I've heard on the radio that Mother's Window Tint says you can get it as dark as you want.

all you need to do is this, gently push back on window while sliding the tint down, your glass has a little play in it . it works. touch 2000 car care.

Ideally yes, BUT.... the window seals on the 3000GT are VERY tight and don't pull away enough to work the film under them.... so, you can either trim the excess off at an angle that allows the film to slide past the seal, or you can remove the door panel to remove the seal. This particular installation HAS NOT PEELED... and it's been several years since it was installed. If quality film is used, the installation is done right, and the film is set properly, it won't peel.
