Joe Quijano Dave Valentin Hilton Ruiz Giovanni Hidalgo and the GUAGUANCO!!!!!

An impromptu moment as an encore bubbled up during the world premiere of "Steppin' with T.P.- dedicated to Tito Puente" by Hilton Ruiz. The recording was released in San Juan, Puerto Rico on March 26th, 2005 on M27 Records. The project which was tied to a documentary film is now a film in memory of Hilton Ruiz. It is our objective at M27 Records to share a glimpse on Hilton's life as an artist, friend, family man, neighbor and his abundance flow of love for music and life. Mr. Ruiz is the original Latin bebop piano player of our time. His abilities crossed barriers and was a staple figure in the Jazz and Latin circles.
