A discussion of Hegemony in International Political Economy for the online journal Bridges: Conversations in Global Politics. The discussion outlines the changing understandings of hegemony in the study of International Relations (IR) and International Political Economy (IPE) in Political Science. Designed to help bridge popular and academic understandings of hegemony, this video outlines the postwar development of theories of hegemony in IPE. Bridges: Conversations in Global Politics is a full peer reviewed online journal that will have youtube videos accompanying all written submissions. These videos provide a more open forum for discussion of disciplinary debates and their relevance to contemporary events. This is a sample video without an accompanying paper to demonstrate the format, and is part of a series designed by the editors to demonstrate the expectations of the journal.
