@skywriter1962 dousing picks up on energy not water as such,its just that water contains a ton of energy you will find generally when males first start dousing the rods cross over and for females they open up,this is when your above,below or in any large energy source such as underground water or groups of overhead powerlines,etc,so if your looking for water ask more questions,the wire is just the anttena between a power source and a reciever,when they x tell them that it means no, when openyes
