@tzee818 I did not call Ethiopian Muslims wahabis I was referring to the Arabs who are bringing in that version of Islam..if you misunderstood me I apologize
@ethi0nz You called Ethiopian Muslims Wahabis without knowing the facts, nor understanding what Wahabism is. Your attitude was patronizing and dismissive, even resulting to playing the "Oh, your Prophet said such-and-such" card. Boring.
@tzee818 What did I say wrong? That those two towns are special to us Christians as Mecca is to Muslims? Or the wahabism part? You and I both know wahhabism is the untolerant form of Islam! Ethiopian Muslims and Christians have lived side by side in peace since the time of Muhammed who even said "Protect and respect Ethiopia" in the hadith! What did I say wrong? Please tell me!
You have to understand the two towns in Ethiopia, Axum and Lalibela are very spiritual holy places for Ethiopian Christians! As no one is allowed to build a Mosque in Mecca we respect that that is the case with the towns of Axum and Lalibela! And keep your wahabism out of Ethiopia..Ethiopia is the first country in the world to accept Islam so we know Islam better than you radical Arabs! God bless everyone!
That is why western women Including former feminists are converting to Islam in the tens of thousands in Western Countries because they find Islam as liberating. 20,000 Americans (most Women) convert to Islam each year since 9/11 -- when the Zionist fascist (as a smoke screen to hiding their Talmudic based crimes against humanity) led anti--Islam propaganda intensified. Even British Journalist Yvonne Ridley,ex Taliban Hostage converts to Islam after reading the holy Quran.
"When forty years of age, Joseph married a woman called Melcha or Escha by some, Salome by others; they lived forty-nine years together and had six children, two daughters and four sons, the youngest of whom was James (the Less, "the Lord's brother"). A year after his wife's death, as the priests announced through Judea that they wished to find in the tribe of Juda a respectable man to espouse Mary, then twelve to fourteen years of age, Joseph, at the time ninety years old
"I am not a Muslim in the usual sense, though I hope I am a "Muslim" as "one surrendered to God," but I believe that embedded in the Quran and other expressions of the Islamic vision are vast stores of divine truth from which I and other occidentals have still much to learn, and 'Islam is certainly a strong contender for the supplying of the basic framework of the one religion of the future.'"
--W. Montgomery Watt, ISLAM AND CHRISTIANITY TODAY, London, 1983, p. ix.
"I've always held the religion of Muhammad in high estimation because of its wonderful vitality. It is the only religion which appears to me to possess that assimilating capacity to the changing phase of existence which can make itself appeal to every age. I have studied him - the wonderful man [.] he must be called the Saviour of Humanity. I believe that if a man like him were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems" G.B. Shaw
