If it's not causing you impairment or distress, then I think there could be something to the concept. I love that this video made me think "outside the box". I think there are some parts of diversity, even in the mental health arena that should be celebrated ... many artists, leaders etc struggled with mental illness. Yet, I think the mental illness experience cease to be "okay" when the distress or impairment exceeds tolerable.

Very true...I know its not all glam , but with the pain can often come so much beauty. Unfortunately yes there are times when the pain outweighs the insight and amazement that comes with it. Thank-you for your input :)

i am mentilly ill and proud of it.i am 70 and i am like a 12 year old,i feel great!i just retired and i watch tv and play video games,being retired and mentilly ill is great.

the only people who care about the mentally ill are other people with mental illness. family members dont care. to family members, a mentally ill person is just a nuisance and drain on finances, best forgotten about, mocked and scorned, barel, hardly ever, understood

That pain remains and you feel very hopeless and confused about what's going on. You have no control over it what so ever. You know if there's nothing to make the pain stop you will have to end it yourself because it's not something the human mind can handle. I am an artist. My work is extreme realism. It has to be perfect. Most people who go through this are creative people. Wheather it's physical or mental it is a horrible thing.

I agree we all have reason to be blue BUT what came over me 4 years ago was far from the blues. Suddenly one morning I became over taken by the feeling that I was in an altered reality.
