There's a logical reason for this. I'd rather my mortgage and car payments get made than my Dollar General Store purchase. Those payments are more important and the ramifications of major payments being returned are higher than a few fees.

and they want you to call in and ask for a refund on those fees you dont understand. so they add more money back to your account, and they earn more interest off that money. that's what a bank is

NEVER trust the online bank ledger. ALWAYS reconcile your accounts in Quicken. DO NOT ATM yourself to death. Take out cash for the week. Budget! The online bank ledger is false! If you read the small print ...they say they can bill the transactions in "any order that they choose"
