we lived there when my kids were really little and I use to tell them that we lived in shag carpet!!! LOL we were there for almost 5 years - in the Military. The official tree of NC is those Pines! and the States nickname is the "Tar Heel State"....and the state bird is the northern cardinal just some fun trivia (and its late at night... guess I need to get some sleep) lol

what a flash back... I use to drive down that road! ... went to N. Myrtle Beach all the time! miss the ocean alot! I lived in N.C. but had to drive to S.C. Many, Many times! Very thick forest compared to wear I live now! .lol Its fun to be able to (sort of) ride along with you! Brings back some good memories (oh and YES they DO like their Christmas Decorations!!!) ok Now I wish i still lived there.... you could stop by with a bag for me... and Visit with me :) lol
