mslegacy, I can't name a single comment anywhere on here that is as funny as that one! I have laughed and laughed. Psychobabble. Lol. That word probably hadn't been coined at the time this show was filmed. This show would hit the ground like a lead balloon these days. Hazel. A slave. That is funny stuff. As much as I love this show...and watch it on t.v...the more angrier I get with the mindset of her character and the snobby nosed Baxter's and their friends who use her mercilessly! Knowing she has no kids, family or husband (and desperately wants them) they keep her subordinate and underfoot as their personal cheap slave by using verbal & Psychology Psyco-babble--telling her she's *one of the family*--yeah...right! Picture THAT!

Really, I loved that show, so funny. I"ll have to look for it then. Yes these old shows are a treasure compare to the stuff they have on TV now. If I have chance to get it, I'll see about posting a clip. Thanks for the infro.

Hazel was my favorite sitcom as a child. Always wished I had my own Hazel!
