This was recorded before the judging day, when we practiced our presentations (instead of listening to the Nobel Laureate panel). Kevin went on to win one of the three Grand Awards at Intel ISEF (International Science and Engineering Fair) 2010, as well as many other special awards. He will be attending MIT in the fall, along with his programming cat.

  • The reason they say that is probably to reduce the number of memorized scripts. Those were all around me, and I was in math!

  • That is a choice for the student, and depends on the project. Mine wasn't much of a presentation or Q and A but more of a discussion.

  • @jesusthenarrowpath My son went to the seminar about presentations, they told them 2 minutes to present and then the rest was questions. MI021 4th place

  • @bowler8 nopes... judges were scheduled in 15 min sections -Markus Woltjer MA029 4th Place

  • students this year 2011 were told they only had 2 minutes to present their projects...surely thats an impossibility.

  • The vuvuzela feature really improved the audio.
