If i were a millionaire back in the 1930's, i would have bought her, refitted her and kept her sailing for another 20 or so years and then later refurbish her as a floating hotel but still keep her traditional white star look.
It would be amazing to be on a ship so similar to the Titanic.
One of the Greatest Ships ever built!!

So would I, keeping her out of the war would be kinda hard, but I'd make the navy sign a contract that they have to do cetin things to use her. I would not let anything happen to her, or let the Titanic socioty turn her into a museum, I'd make Carnavle use her as a trans atlantic ship when I died. May she RIP, I wish we could go back and save her, but shes steaming forever now in a place safe from the cutters tourch and ice.

@SlyMax84 where have you been all my life?

This old 4 steamers where the most beautifull ships of Steamships. So elegant and wonderfull never later ships where build. To scrapp her is very sad, but what can we do with an ironship when its time is gone ? Iron will die after it is sailing for some ten jears in the saltwater of the sea. Sorry, but this is the life ! This dreamships are all gone, but her souls are in the heaven of all seamendreams !

Olympic was 882 feet long, 92 feet wide, & was the finest ship afloat, when she made her maiden voyage on Wednesday, June 14, 1911.

I am so sorry Olympic that those bitchs scraped you

in fact the olympic was exactly like titanic her later years. She was refurbished and the tonnage increased. Very close to the end of her campaign she was made larger to nearly 47,000 tonns, larger than the titanic. They are pretty much the same, shame she got scrapped.
