------PLEASE READ! INFORMATION HERE!------ I have been wanting for the longest time to be able to take riding lessons and do jumping, and more specifically, with my horse. We have both become bored with just riding around flat on the trails(Though it probably strengthened her leg muscles for the jumping job) and in the pasture. Out of boredom she' begun to not listen to me and since I've began working with her in getting her accustomed to trotting over poles on the lunge line and small cross fences(I think they are called Oxers). Well, My dad has promised lessons as soon as we move since we should be moving this summer and there is no point really to start lessons in one place only to move to a new barn after a couple months. In the meantime, with the knowledge I have (In my free time I enjoy watching countless videos of Jumping shows, "training" videos, Tip videos, and anything else I can get my hands on so I've probably viewed 500 of these at least and have concentrated hard on how they do things) I was hoping to get started on both my horse's and my own training for this. With this, I was hoping To find some people I could send recordings of my riding to to receive some helpful pointers possibly on things I may be doing wrong. It is fine if no one wants to, I'll still be practicing hard, I just wanted to have some sort of way to keep myself from continually doing things wrong. If anyone would like to help with this, I would be thrilled. I might record for the first time tomorrow, depending on how our warm-up goes. Also, if anyone has any suggestions on the best brands of Jumping tack, feel free to tell me. I'd love to see how much I need to save up for. Currently, I have a Silverfox Saddle set That I bought so My horse and I could get used to the English Tack. Thank you! Especially to anyone who helps my dream become a Reality! Note: I'm not a child. So please, no rude comments pertaining to this or anything else for that matter. Thanks.
EDIT: I am kind of Expecting an answer like "Get with a trainer." I prefer that no one tell me this really. As I said, I'm no child and I am far from inexperienced when it comes to horses and training. Simply said, I'm informally trained in jumping. I understand everything from leg cues and proper pressure, to correct posture and posting(Though I have to admit, It could use some work). 95% of my riding is self-taught and my horse's training has been done by myself with only about 6% of it being helped by others(suggestions). Since I trained her from 3-4 years old(Now almost 9) she's been as great as I could want her to be doing most everything I ask her to do. Only recently has this fallen back since she's beginning to understand that it is rather boring. I can tell it is boredom just by her actions. This is why I need to change the routine. I have ALREADY jumped for fun through the years, especially when we get to a log in the trail that is just in the way and we cannot go around so this is not an issue.

Hello, yes small jumps are called crossrails lol its a really good thing your starting the jumps off small so you dont hurt your horse get her used to small jumps first.. its a good thing you know the the basics like two point and such but it might still be a good idea to get some instruction even just one lesson could make a BIG difference if you want to go far with jumping...
Well good luck :) and your horse is very pretty :)
