Here's a quick guide to doing brilliantly in the English GCSE (AQA) Paper One. Millthorpe currently sets a simplified version of this paper for Year 9 students as replacement for the SATs. In Year 10 we set a full exam paper to give students more practice at this punishing test. The best advice? Read the questions VERY carefully and give the examnier what they are asking for.
