nailhead sedan maiden voyage

the first time the 30 has been out of the garage. 3 times around the block. time to get the doors to close and stay closed.

how much chop. It seems about right. Can you see out the windshield alright? Mine is a six inch chop and it is like driving a mailbox. I'm a bit tall for it though. Did you drop the frame under the seats?

@tostentwo the body had a really hacked up chop on it when we got it, so we ended up taking another inch out just to clean up the seams and get it closer to right. we figure the total chop to be about 8 inches. the frame is straight under the seats but we made the seat frames really close to the floor. I can see fine out of it at about 5'11''. I wouldnt want to be any taller though.

Come on surely you can't drive that on the main roads, here in Australian '' all '' the Hot, Rat, Rods have to be built to a standard and pretty much that of a new car.
