  • too bad this is the only version of Barber's Second Essay on youtube. it would be nice to hear a professional orchestra play it...however these kids aren't bad at all.

too bad John Williams completely stole the second theme to this piece for the Harry Potter score!

  • High schoolers have mustaches. My friend had a beard in high school. lol

  • @Elmothefuzzle Whew okay haha sorry then, wasn't sure

  • @cysotbone621 I was being sarcastic, as it's the opposite

  • @Elmothefuzzle yes because John Williams definitely came before Samuel Barber.....

  • This guy ripped off the Harry Potter theme

  • Nice job Darryl, from an ISU oboist in the 70's

  • Uhh... why does it cut off the last note? That's not cool.

  • That is a damn goo performance for a high-school rendition.

  • @chaoticregiment

Ha I wanted to ask you where it started (did not listened to it yet).. but after 2 minutes it become easy to hear. It sounds like John Williams replaced the dissonants with consonants (with all respect for John Williams though)

  • @chaoticregiment

I have not listened to it yet, but could you tell me where the second theme starts?

  • C'mon horns!! Play out!!
