ADKINS25086, I've been told surgeons prefer Ringer's while internists prefere normal saline. It seems to be one of those "this is what we were taught so this is what we order" differences between surgery and internal medicine.

I LOVED this show as kid! All of my school freinds did as well.

I had the Thermos brand metal lunchbox!

The only thing I remember of it, was that the front of the lunchbox had the scene where the kid gets his head stuck between the vertical metal bars of a metal fence.

BTW, the ladies (and girls) of the day did go a bit ga-ga over Randy Mantooth! He was of native American heritage, if my memory serves.

I used to have a hyper fit when I heard this come on - saturday nights If I remember correctly. Used to drive my babysitter nuts!!

Saturday nights 8 pm NBC. I was a when it ran and got very upset when I tuned in and found the show was not there.

check your local library. I just got out the 1st and second seasons from my library

loved Emergency growing up but didn't know one of the stars was Randolph Mantooth( you must be kidding)
