  • @Rx2D well i am no expert. actually im just someone who was searching online to see if i have social anxiety and i found your comment. but from what you wrote it does seem like anxiety, and is probably social anxiety.

  • B:...short bursts that only last a few seconds (my chest gets tight, too), but I'd feel really edgy, tired, and anxious for a long time afterward. They usually happen right after another, too. It would sometimes happen like 5 times in an hour. I get them often while showering. It's so strange. I don't understand if it's anxiety or something else. I've only had a full-blown anxiety attack once (it lasted a few minutes), and the two "attacks", while similar, aren't the same. So... what is it?

  • A: I have a Q. I'm not sure if this anxiety, or something else, but when I'm in a bad situation-- or thinking of a bad situation-- I get these short bursts of what I'd guess you'd say was anxiety. I'd find myself hyperventilating and would end up either whimpering loudly, shouting, or bursting into song (I'm being serious).
