Sony Xperia S Hands On at CES 2012

As the first Sony smartphone (and not Sony Ericsson), the Xperia S is a bit of a stunner. It has a full 720p 4.3" display which comes with the Bravia engine. It also has an HDMI output for beaming video to a panel or projector. Inside there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.5GHz dual-core CPU with 1GB of RAM, a 12MP camera capable of shooting 1080p video, and a front-facing camera that can record 720p video. It will ship with Android 2.3 but expect a ICS upgrade.

Depending on developer support I can really see this as my next phone.

Is that the speaker on the bottom? If so...kudos to Sony. I hate having a speaker on the back of my phone

I could swear the phone had Sony Ericsson in silver at the top... Not sure why they are calling it Sony sans Ericsson.
