  • @amati1975 ffs just listen to the historians not the internet. Ive been to florence and i have family from there, if you see it it's easy to tell. Why would everyone say it started in florence if it didnt? I learn at school that it started in florence, they arent making this shit up.

  • It started (the italian renaissance) because the wave of plague hit there first therefore leaving it first (Italy). There is always genius, but due to one's environmant can that genius fluorish.

  • The Renaissance began on the Balkans in Bulgaria back at 1259 AD NOT in Italy

  • @mejoe444 Actually the Renaissance has its roots in Dante Alighieri XIII century, more than a century before the fall of Constantinople. the Scholars from the East helped but they were not the cause.

    A lot of geniuses were born well before 1453...
