  • sounds/looks like you have a restriction

change that fuel filter and inspect the lines

notice how when u moved the line in a certain position it starts to flow normally without any loud sounds, the restriction in the system is causing the fuel pump to overload, creating that ticking sound

i also suggest u inspect the fuel pump also

  • I have the same problem with a new facet pump. Not always, only when start and when I go fast. Could be a restriction in the tube from deposit to pump? from pump to carbs all in new.
