This is my homemade "Propeller" clock. The display appears taller than it is wide due to the camera aspect ratio 16:9 compared to youtube's 4:3. Display modes are being changed via a tv remote.

  • Nice work. I am just wondering how the PCB gets the power? from the motor? by wires?

  • It gets its power wirelessly through an air core transformer running at 30khz.

  • Alessandro that is a cool clock! did you make that?

If so, is it hard to do?

  • Yeah, its quite hard as to have to be good with both electronics and mechanics.

  • omg what the hell do you watch on tv?

  • lol it was just the evening news.

  • Wrong aspect ratio sucks ass, but you can change it even after uploading your video: watch?v=MFPcAIM8fB0
