  • RIP John! You will truly be missed!

  • John, you will always be my buddy, Long careers together, No bad times. A true firemans - fireman. Miss and love ya forever. Harry Rich

  • I cannot believe that John is gone. He was such an exceptional man, friend and colleague. Working with him at 74 and later on the Benefit for the Bravest was the best. Always fun, always doing more than was asked, he was a credit to his profession, but more than that he was one of the good guys. The love and care he showed for Val and his family was matched by the same regard for his Fire Dept. family. I feel honored to have known him and I will never forget the example he set. Pat D.

  • John left an impact on everybody he met. He made the world a better place and be will never forget him. His Fire Department family at Fire Station 75 are honored that we were able to have John as our Captain, Mentor, and Friend. We are also grateful to have been the ones who responded and that his family and friends were able to say goodbye. Thank you for all you gave us and we'll take good care of Val.

  • John was a truly genuine and great man to his family, his station, his friends and strangers. You will be missed!
