Fiz, Voodoo & DJ Jorun Live at Double Deuce in Halifax circa March 1993. This was back when Universal Soul was only 3 members : Voodoo (D-hip), Fiz, and Jorun (Witchdoc). Halifax hip hop at it's most purest form using just two turntables, double vinyl copies of "Big beat" by Billy Squire on the turntable used to extend the drum break live (no samplers), and two MC's rocking the mic.. This was the pre-release party for the Haltown Meltdown which also featured Haslam, Hip CLub Groove w/ Sixtoo, Bonshah, Haltown Projex and Bassment Unit.
The message of "Video cam" is pretty clear : Instead of resorting to violence against cops for their wrong-doings (which is what is usually expected) use a videocam as a weapon to capture their illegal activities and use it against them in court. Proof holds more weight in the court of law than a gun in retaliation. is song was performed shortly after the Rodney King incident
