Without a doubt. But the Sabre's first flight was in 1947. However it did not make it to units until 1949...

I know that the Airforce used F-80s, F-84s, and even F-51s primarily until around March and April of 1951 the F 86s started to show up. I know there had to be a squadron stateside in 47 or so but all the action for the 86s was mainly from 1952 until the end of the war.
