This video demonstrates how to do basic Tunisian Crochet, also called Afghan Stitch and by many other names such as Tricot Crochet, Scottish knitting, Shepherd's Knitting, Hook Knitting, Royal Princess Stitch, Russian Crochet, Railroad Knitting or Railway Knitting and more.
The first part shows how to start out making the two passes, working the loops on and off the hook. The second part will show the finishing and also and example of the second method of going into the stitches. Regular single crochet piece is compared to a Tunisian piece using the same number of stitches and same yarn.
A text/picture tutorial of the basic Tunisian knitting method where you make little squares is at http://www.crochetcabana.com/specialty/tunisian.htm
@capricorne21 Do you mean they won't fit on the crochet hook? You need to use an afghan hook. I have seen them in 10" and 14" or you can get one custom made longer. You can also use the circular ones with the wire for really wide pieces, but I would suggest getting comfortable with the straight hooks first.

Sorry what I meant is I can't hold more then 10 stiches long on my crochet when Im trying to do more stiches is to hard to chain them together --" Maybe I should make my stiches more wide, or I should take a bigger crochet to make them . Imma try and we'll see if it work for me ;)

@capricorne21 You don't say what the problem is. Just keep working the same procedure - make the number of chain stitches you would like to make, then work into them as described in the video. If you can provide more info, I might be able to be more help.
