The Great Mobile Phone Debate

In 2001, when I made this film, 45% of people believed a mobile was CRITICAL to their lives. By 2003, 3 in 4 in the UK alone owned a mobile. Today we make sure most of our kids have a mobile (in case of emergency) yet still aggressively refuse to have mobile phone masts erected near our homes (for health fears). The question of whether mobile phones are a danger to our health was never adequately answered yet as the years pass our worries are seemingly cast aside by the cultural demand of keeping up with the latest ringtones... We are happy to beg borrow steal to have the latest mobile gadgets just don't let those dangerous masts anywhere near us!?*@
