This model I've had for as long as I can remember. My dad was an over the road driver for this company, mainly running the East Coast.

  • @infringinator; I don't have a speedlight yet. I'm not very good with a flash and just haven't taken time to practice enough to get good with one. The 18-55mm kit lens isn't a bad lens actually. I shot a wedding with mine, and most of the shots were at f/6.3 at 800 ISO and they came out pretty good. What I'm going to get in place of the 18-55mm kit lens is a 24-70mm f/2.8.

  • @FerdinandMagellan08 well I dropped about $400 on a speedlight and some modifiers so one day I'll save up for a lens...Im still using the 18-55 kit :( Great pictures but Id love to have a full frame camera one day

  • @infringinator; I use mine almost on a daily basis. I'm getting ready to get a new lens soon. :)

  • I wish I used my D3000 as much as you...it only sees the light of day when I visit family it seems :(
