Cornish group the Fisherman's Friends sing "Cousin Jack" on the Platt at Port Isaac on a rainy Friday night in September 2010. The group were "discovered" after 15 years of regularly performing in their home village of Port Isaac and now perform on radio, tv and at festivals throughout the UK. They all live in or around Port Isaac where most of them were brought up. Three are fishermen, two builders, two shop owners, one farmer/ engineer, one potter and Pete is retired. (He is 76 of course!!)

  • i'm a kid, and the reason i looked up this song is because i used to play this on guitar in my old lessons and can't find the sheet that has the chords and lyrics on and i quite liked the version i used to play on guitar.

  • I wonder how many of the people sat watching them actually understand the true meaning behind those words?

  • I can't help noticing the top of the white van door thats left open on the right there, where it crosses the upright white frame with the dark of the inside of the van behind, looks like the Cornish flag of St Piran, lol

  • just been to see them in brixham tonight, what a show
