Shame on SOAS- while the student occupation of SOAS Directorate offices continues, students and staff call for the return of deported cleaners and help for those held at UK Borders agency detention centre.

MP Jeremy Corbyn speaks on SOAS steps and outlines his Early Day Motion in the House of Commons which calls for a stop for deportations and condemns ISS & SOAS for colluding in the persecution of its own staff. Poet Michael Rosen also speaks out. Shame on SOAS- No racist deportations.

No, they didn't enter the country illegally. The cleaning company were more than happy to employ them. They know that they can get away with paying migrants fuck all, that's why they do it. They actively chose to employ them because of this. Their immigration status only became an issue when they dared to join a trade union. The brach chairman was sacked and trade unionists were deported. You need to wake up, it's not about their immigration status its about their trade union membership.
