  • i'd say Fangio was the best of all time. Look at it this way: If you are fast, great. BUT if you are as fast with death riding on your shoulder, thats fantastic! so i would say my top 5: Fangio, Stirling Moss, Ayrton Senna, Jim Clark, Jackie Stewart. Honorable Mention: Alain Prost

  • @SparkPlugRocks Couldn't agree more with your comparison of racing today vs. yesteryear. That's a pretty good top 5 list, way better than the lists put together by most of today's 'experts' who grew up watching Schumacher on TV. I personally place Clark at the top of my list, but I won't argue against Fangio (or about half a dozen other drivers who drove "with death riding on [their] shoulder").
