Go inside the legal, but inhumane world of dog auctions. Rare footage from multiple dog auctions shows how dogs are treated like livestock and are passed around from one kennel to another, with no regard for their health or well-being, and certainly no regard for the emotional trauma they endure.

kind of a necessary evil. They are animals, and there is a demand for the animals. They have to be bred to meet demands. Cows get butchered for their meat, dogs get bred so people can have pets. Big fuckin deal.
What I mean is that the auctioneer comes in to do a speedy job. ie, get them out of these horrible conditions as soon as possible. It seems to me the auctioneer is the least to blame in the process. They didn't breed, nor create these issues... and they are not to blame for the actions of the next owners either. Touchy opinion, I completely understand.
the speedier he gets rid of those, the speedier more take their place. the more suffering there is. the more money they make the more dogs they buy the more puppies that suffer, its a horrible viscous circle

Until idiots stop giving these terrible people thousands of dollars for doing this to animals, they will never stop.
