A tribute vid to Bobby Darin and Sandra Dee, set to a live version of Bobby's "Once Upon A Time". In the 2004 biopic of Darin, "Beyond The Sea", Kevin Spacey used this song as the main love theme for Bobby and Sandy. Married from 1960 to 1966, the union produced a son, Dodd Darin, and the couple were America's sweethearts, starring in three films together as a team, "Come September" (1961), which was the film in which they met, "If A Man Answers" (1962) and "That Funny Feeling" (1965). The marriage was troubled, although they never really got out of each other's blood. The hopeless romantic in me is running rampant again. I hope this montage inspires some nice memories, enjoyment and maybe even a few tears. Enjoy.

@LookinIand, well, from what I heard, Sandra got a kick out of it, she knew they were poking fun at her screen image, not her. She even appeared in a stage production of "Grease" in the 90s.

@TheLindazip , A&E did indeed make a Sandra Dee bio, made in the late 90s. I recorded it when it first aired, don't know if the Biography Channel shows it.

@mvies77 very true, sadly, greed and selfishness has taken forfront to God's laws. for a nation to change, people must change first...and it starts with loving the lord then loving each other...our leaders are not men of faith anymore...as they go...we go.. hopefully that will change and this beautiful music will again be relevant.

Much like Grace Kelly, Sandy just did not have a bad angle. In some shots she looks better than others, but her beauty really shines in each one.

You can tell Bobby's not at his best; his high notes don't always have the confidence he was famous for (and I don't think it was a thematic choice), and he does not show his best control here. What a trooper, though, to do this when he knew his health was getting the better of him. Despite the flaws, he still delivers a very sweet performance.

How sad and bittersweet. Not only their end but of America's loss of innocence, when Dem's and Rep's worked together for good. We knew the clean, light hearted and bright dream of believing and trusting in leaders and each other died with the death of Kennedy. Bobby and Sandy were a part of that bright dream.
