@CYGNUSnr That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying people bitching about just John aren't true RHCP fans. A real RHCP fan can appreciate or at least TRY to appreciate all of their albums. I love John as much as the next guy and I love Dave as well, but to me RHCP is RHCP, not Anthony, Flea, and Chad playing with (fill in the blank) on guitar. I think Josh is a damn fine guitarist and is not a wannabe at all.

@NickODU2015 Really? Have you ever seen a Mother's Milk era show? Josh is a young John Frusciante wannabe. If you take look on youtube you'll see a lot of RHCP fans discussing who was better guitarist: John Frusciante or Dave Navarro (John surely is most preferred), but this doesn't means that a fan who prefers Navarro's is not a RHCP fan, is just a point of view... I believe Dave would bring something better than Josh to the band if he came back again... but hey, I'm still a fan...

josh's tone is weak and has way too much flange all the fucking time. go listen to any of frusciante's versions and you'll see how much more gusto there is in his tone and delivery
