Dude Im a Sous Chef...and if u did this in my kitchen u would be finding work somewhere else quickly...for one ur using a RED cutting board...any cook knows red if for raw beef and pork only...and if I saw ur station in that mess or my Mirepoix had uneven ass cuts like that Ican ur ass on the spot!

Ya, this is it, you don't need to have extremely clean and precise cuts for prep work. you just need to crank it out. ALSO when food gets cooked, it's shape changes and you cannot distinguish from all symmetrically cut onions from and onion with different sizes of pieces.
