http://www.normanmacrae.com/netfuture.html As my father forecast from The Economist in 1984 , we of this young
21st Century live in a defining generation for humanity's future history. Nothing can stop the world going global with every locality being integrated into the planet and cultures having ever more impact on each other. The only question is which global will spin that advocated by big power or the MICRO economics representing people power. Much of the mass media - being sponsored by the world's biggest organisations fails to wholly cover sustainability issues from local viewpoints. Still it was amazingly dismal how many in the British financial press reviewed the 2008 book "Creating a World without Poverty- Social Business, Future of Capitalism http://smbaworld.com/id8.html " by Dr Muhammad Yunus. For example, the FT carped that is was sad to see Yunus the founder of such a deep idea as microcredit raising such an untested model as social business. Here Samir Chowdhury who works at the Yunus secretariat in Dhaka puts the record straight. Social Business has over 30 years of proof-testing out of Bangladesh, by over 100000 financial practitioners! It maps the number 1 sustainability investment model in the world - one which governs future exponentials to be communally rising unlike global banking's crashing subprime risks. http://wholeplanet.tv/id32.html
