likewise. youtube has been great for finding out songs you never knew existed and talent that somehow escaped attention...and its not like you can say she didnt have the looks so must be the lack of airplay or something. But she has another "new" fan in me
@stephenhad Karen Carpenter and Abba were the focus groups for this type of music. You Tube has opened my eyes to what I missed in the 70s. I was born in 71. It is unfortunate that alot of talent never made it big.
Wow. I always thought you was the pretty bird that fronted Pickettywitch and then just disappeared. I was around 13 then and was getting into soul music. Just looked up your old group on here today and have discovered some of the other stuff you have released.....brilliant. Loved the version of "Love wont let me wait". You have a terrific voice and I wanna hear more.
@mickthepen How I agree wtih you! I don't understand why she wasn't bigger commercially. Maybe "real" talent doesn't figure in the equation for success.
I was about 12 in 1970 when i went to keswick with my parents on holliday on the way a Pickettywitch record Summertime Feeling came on the car radio,i got hooked and bought the record that day and have been a Polly Brown fan ever since the greatest ever british female singer.Anyone know where i can get a autographed photo?

This has a nice black velvet feel to it which really suits your voice.
